The Sarajevo Theatre Showcase (STS) is pleased to announce the open call for the Theatre Market, a curated networking platform designed to connect regional playwrights with international funders, festival representatives, agents, and potential producers.
As part of STS 2025, the Theatre Market will feature up to ten completed drama projects from Southeast Europe. Selected playwrights will have the opportunity to present their work in pre-arranged one-on-one meetings with global theatre professionals, fostering collaboration, funding, touring, and co-production opportunities.

Who Can Apply?
We invite applications from:
Playwrights with completed drama scripts seeking international production, funding, or touring opportunities.
Theater artists, production companies, institutions, and collectives with fully developed dramatic works ready for presentation.
Projects that are finalized or in the final stages of development, suitable for staging and seeking international exposure.
Eligible works include new plays, contemporary drama, experimental scripts, and interdisciplinary theatrical works.
Eligible countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro.
