BAZAART je organizacija umetnika sa sedištem u Beogradu, koja razvija savremenu teoriju i praksu izvođačkih umetnosti i njihov dijalog s društvom. Kao baza za saradnju umetnika i stručnjaka, BAZAART sarađuje sa partnerima na evropskom prostoru, s posebnim akcentom na regionu Zapadnog Balkana, u oblasti interdisciplinarnog istraživanja, umetničkog rada i edukacije mladih kao učesnicika u kulturi, kao i na brojnim projektima usmerenim na građenje tolerancije, prevenciju konflikta, inkluziju izbeglih i raseljenih lica, razvoj multikulturalnosti i tolerancije itd.  

Važni partnerski projekti:
Spielend durch Europa - Evropa zemlja igre – istraživanje i razvoj tradicije igre kao medija kulture u Evropi (2005 – 2007);
Ratne priče – istraživanje rata kao najveće pozornice savremenog sveta (1999 – 2004);
Mit kao sudbina (2005 – 2009) – 7 partnerskih teatarskih grupa iz slovenskih zemalja u regionu Zapadnog Balkana radilo je na dekonstrukciji nacionalnih mitova kao 'obrazaca sudbine’ naroda.

Metodologija je zasnovana na interdisciplinarnom istraživanju koje se sprovodi u medijima nauke, teorije i umetnosti, u saradnji sa stručnjacima i ustanovama iz ovih oblasti. Rezultati projekta su dramski tekstovi, predstave, performansi, izložbe, video radovi, muzičke i zvučne kompozicije. Dve knjige i niz članaka objavljeni su tokom projekta.

BAZAART is an artists’ organization based in Belgrade, which develops contemporary performing arts theory and practice and their dialog with the society.

As a base for collaboration of artists and experts, BAZAART works with colleagues from Europe, with special emphasis on the region of the Western Balkans, on interdisciplinary research, artistic work and education of the young as participants in culture, as well as on theatre-based projects aiming at tolerance building, conflict prevention, inclusion of refugees and displaced persons, development of democratic principles of multiculturalism and tolerance etc.

Important partnership projects:
Spielend durch Europa - Europe Land of Games – research and development of games as a cultural tradition of Europe (2005 – 2007);
War Stories – research of war as a major stage of contemporary world (1999 – 2004);
Myth as Destiny (2005 – 2009) – 7 partner theatre groups from Slavic countries in the Western Balkans worked on deconstruction of national myths as 'matrixes of destiny’ of the nations.

Methodology is based on interdisciplinary research in the media of science, theory and arts, in collaboration with experts and institutions from those fields. The project results were scripts and plays, stage productions, performances, exhibitions, videos, music and sound compositions etc. Two books and a series of articles were published during the project.
